To honor and memorialize her genealogical career and interests, the Jewish Genealogical Society hereby creates the Lucille Gudis Memorial Fund for Jewish Genealogy to:
- Increase knowledge of genealogical research through educational lectures at
conferences, genealogical seminars, and other venues,
- Examine the latest developments in research methodology and encourage the
development of creative ways to transmit genealogical research data on a
worldwide basis through the Internet and other technologies, and - Provide a forum and means of expression for the most skilled genealogical researchers to present their materials to others.
